I will not be babysitting.

I attempted to find babysitting jobs and it was just so much hassle. They wanted me to be 18 and have my own car, and the best website I saw wanted me to pay to use it, like what the world??? I concluded that finding babysitting jobs online was ridiculous. Maybe I'll look for tutoring jobs. For babysitting, I'm going to attempt to find work by word of mouth. After looking at babysitting jobs, I got on Indeed and found two jobs I'd be willing to do: a temp job at Clayton State Barnes and Nobles, and another temp job, at Leslie's which is a pool care store. I did the Barnes and Nobles application all the way through but did not press submit because as we know, commitment sickens me. My stomach literally lurched every time I got closer to the final submit button. I didn't start the Leslie's application yet. I'm going to talk about it with my dad. I really need to get out of the house. Ugh, I hate summer. I hope my senior photo looks good. I don't think I'm going to get makeup. I just want to get my hair done and put on some mascara. Same for my graduation. I think the only event that I would wear makeup for senior year would be prom. I don't even want to think about that, though. I'm stressed out thinking about it and it's nearly a full year away. Sigh. At least my dad is home now, so I can go to the grocery store and get snacks to drown my sorrows in. I need some sugar.

    I like reading your thoughts. Its very refreshing your approach to life. I am anxious myself a lot and have to do many exercises to just be in the moment and the crazy thing is that it’s over simple easy things. Go figure. Can’t wait to read the next post.

    Your blogs are funny and genuine. I also worry about what I’m going to do this summer. Trying to plan with friends and finding a job.

Baz Luhrmann, you are my guy 4L. What an awesome movie. I'm sickened by the level of greatness that movie possessed. But I mean, who can be surprised? This was a Baz Luhrmann film after all. Austin Butler put his SOUL into his performance as Elvis Presley. What a beautiful film. Super duper kudos to the whole cast and crew. And I give a special shoutout to makeup as well as the editing crew. They did their thing! I know some will have complaints about the extravagance of the film, but 1) it's about Elvis, what did you expect? and 2) It's a Baz Luhrmann film, what did you expect? Vogue: An Ode To The Marc Jacobs The Tote Bag

  This image is from the Vogue article,  An Ode To The Marc Jacobs The Tote Bag . I think it's such a lovely photo. I bought my own MJ tote bag today, yasss! It is so beautiful!!! I got The Small Tote Bag in Black . After tax, it cost 210.60. I only have 9.33 left lol. I have 30 more bucks on the way, but 39.33 still isn't much. This summer I have  to get a job. I want more Marc Jacobs tote bags. I also want clothes, so I really need the money. My odd jobs are inconsistent so I can't rely on that to buy bags which cost over 200 after tax. Now, here are some general updates: - Today, I watched Brightburn, as well as Sparky and Micaela and Hamster PSA, so that's 3 more parts of James Gunn's filmography I've completed. - Right now, I am watching Movie 43. I really like it! This is so funny lol.

Yet the Town Keeps Going

In my May 31 post titled "Being Weird", I said, "Now that I've completed Stranger Things, I don't really know what to do. I've been reading  this new manga , and I like it, but I'm not obsessed with it. It's fun, that's all. It's not like Arakawa Under the Bridge, or the series I read last summer where I spent every waking moment on them. I don't think there are many more series out there that can consume me the way the stuff I read last summer did.". Here is an update on that manga. The manga is called Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru or SoreMachi for short. In English, the name is Yet the Town Keeps Going, but I like to call it SoreMachi. I read it from May 29 to June 5, and I totally loved it. At the beginning, I was not obsessed, but as I read further I could not put it down. At first, I felt it was going by slowly, but eventually, it started speeding by and I was at the final chapter (138.5) in a flash. 139 chapters went by like noth...
